HAND-MADE MATCHA BAMBOO WHISK

Matcha bamboo whisk is also called Chasen – the most essential tool to make a frothy creamy matcha in a tea bowl. Every whisk is made with hands using a single piece of bamboo, then sliced into 100/120 meshes. The finer the bamboo mesh the creamier the matcha tastes like.

The standard matcha bamboo whisk is made with new bamboo, which is usually a light yellow colour.

The master matcha bamboo whisk is made with vintage bamboo (brown) by Master Chen, who is the descendant of a historical bamboo whisk making family. His bamboo whisk is known for its artistic appearance and refined and soft bamboo mesh.
